Toy Drive helping bring Christmas to Gautier, Vancleave kids | Community Spirit
Title (Max 100 Characters)
The Gautier Police Department and the Gautier Firefighters Association have again partnered with the Liberty Assembly of God Church in Gautier to host the second annual Christmas toy drive. This is a local toy drive benefiting less fortunate children (12 and under) in the Gautier and Vancleave areas whose families frequent the church’s food bank.
Organizers said last year's drive was a big success that brought smiles to children of 150 families.
On December 15, 2012 at 6:00 pm, the church will be hosting a dinner for the families and toys will be distributed at that time. Several Gautier police officers and firefighters will be in attendance to assist.
The public is encouraged to bring only new, un-wrapped toys to any of the drop-off locations listed below:
- Gautier City Hall (Water Department) - 3330 Hwy 90 – (228) 497-8000
- Gautier Police Department (Foyer) - 3329 Hwy 90 – (228) 497-2486
